It's funny, I've always thought I was getting too old to think about switching careers; that I was too engrained in my industry to change it all now. But somehow, I not only started a new career, I hopped into one that isn't typically waddled into in your 30s. But I'd like to think that hasn't stopped me from killing it.
I've truly been loving doing online sex work. The freedom it affords me has been so amazing; being able to have complete creative control, making my own hours and my own schedule, not needing to check in with anyone before hitting "post". It's reminded me of so many things I love about creative industries, and customer service.
I've been beyond lucky, I think, that so many of my subscribers have been just an absolute joy to talk to and it's made it so much more enjoyable for me. I look forward to waking up to good morning messages, to catching up on people's days and lives, to forming our own languages and inside jokes.
That said, I'm still not doing this full-time. Well, no. Let me rephrase that. I am doing this full-time, I just also have a whole other job and career that I need to juggle. I really hope that at some point, I'll be able to do only this, because it's definitely where my heart lies at the moment. But until then, I'll enjoy the flexibility it affords me and the creative outlet it provides. Hope you'll all enjoy this journey along with me!
